Sewing // Design + Textiles (Thursdays)

 Here we have a full semester planned to explore the world of design! Grab a journal and jump right in for so much adventure with fabric. Below is a list of skills we will focus on for the semester using tutorials, custom GOA content and patterns, 

Create a patchwork design, upcycle project, design and construct your own skirt or vest, proper cutting techniques with textiles, recycle denim projects, embroidery tutorials, print making and ice dye, fall costume design, sewing machine anatomy, learn the overlock machine. (Grades 4th +)

Personal Sewing machine optional

 15 week course, August 26th to Dec 19th

Class offerings: 3-4:30pm, Thursday weekly

Supplies: Students will bring their own crochet hook and yarn. These will be specific to our projects. Please wait to purchase until you get our official supply email.

Registration fee: $50 non refundable

Class fee: $475

Location: 8610 Hamilton Ave, Huntington Beach,( Newland/Hamilton) 

Charter school students:  

$50 nonrefundable registration to secure a spot in the class, out of pocket. Class fee may be covered by charter school PO. Please submit PO for class fee before August 26th.

Our current charter schools we work with are Cabrillo Point, iLead, Scale, Blue Ridge, Sage Oak, Sky Mountain, Sun Coast, Pacific Coast, Mission Vista and if you don't see your charter listed, we would be happy to start that process to onboard.
